The Parish Planned Giving Programme is set up:

  • to meet the ongoing day to day expenses of running a big parish;
  • to provide quality pastoral and spiritual care for parishioners;
  • to budget for the maintenance of our buildings and plant situated on two campuses (Taupo and Turangi);
  • to save for those unplanned emergencies;
  • to provide a stipend, food, lodgings, ongoing care and support for the resident priest and also to assist other priests in the the Hamilton Diocese that cannot afford to support a priest.

There are THREE main methods of Planned Giving:

In each of these cases you are eligible to apply for a 33.3% tax rebate – so, if you pledge $15 per week you will receive back a $5 rebate.
