FIRST READING: Joshua 24:1-2a, 15-17
Upon entering the Promised Land and remembering the Exodus from Egypt, both Joshua and all twelve tribes of Israel pledged their faithful to God alone. What has God done in your life that you can acknowledge and celebrate?

Toward the end of his letter to the Ephesians, Paul takes up the topic of husbands and wives. He speaks of the importance of mutual respect and love. What do you add as key parts for a successful marriage?

John tells us that many of Jesus’s disciples stopped following him because they found some of his teachings too hard to accept. What keeps you following Jesus?

A Word from Fr Danny Fraser-Jones
Thanks to all who helped me celebrate my ninth anniversary of priestly ordination this week. I love being a priest—being open to Christ using me as His instrument and serving the Royal Priesthood, the people of God, is a joy. St. John Vianney, the patron of priests, said, 'If we really understood the priest on earth, we would die: not of fear, but of love.' As we conclude the Bread of Life gospel this week, my prayer is that every Catholic man, as he discerns his vocation, prayerfully asks himself, 'Am I being called to be a priest?’
